We ordered gnocchi and pesto pasta in the first day! It was delicious from the first bite. Since we loved the food, we went back the next day for dinner. We got a great service and the waiter speaks English which makes easier. The atmosphere is cozy, they have tables at the alley and inside.
The price is affordable compared to other places.

We had some of the best pizza we’ve ever tasted. Crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and perfectly melted cheese on the Margherita. The gnocchi was soft and flavorful, and the swordfish was cooked to perfection. Every dish was spot on. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and food that makes you want to come back the next night. Highly recommended!

This is a real gem of a place. The folks are friendly, the service is excellent, prices are very affordable and the pizzas are gourmet standard. If you are fortunate enough to be in Maori seek out Donna Maria. It is located in a narrow alleyway and feels as Italian as it should. Opening times can be a little unpredictable but it is truly worth the effort.

Best Italian pizza and pasta; family run restaurant loved by locals and tourists. Fantastic service, super friendly staff. Tucked away from the tourist traps and traffic on a very quiet street (no cars). Cozy - perfect for a romantic date a la Italian vibe. Visited a few nights in a row; Gnocchi was superb. Diavolo and Dona Maria pizza paired with local wines and Campari Spritz. Thank you Carlo and Maximo!

I was truly amazed by the quality of the food here. Ordered their vegetables and codolette for takeaway which was the best I've had in Italy.
I didn't expect the amount of food I was going to get for about half the price of what I would pay at the surrounding restaurants.
After ordering the wait for fresh chicken codollete was about 6 minutes when a very sweet lady came running down the stairs with a big smile on her face carrying that massive portion of chicken.

The pizza here is honestly amazing! Loved the Margherita – super classic and full of flavor. Also tried the veggie pizza and it was delicious too, especially the Donna Maria pizza – so good! If you’re vegetarian, definitely check this place out!

Food was excellent. Service was directly from Massimo & Carlo the owner and son. Ordered pasta and pizza. Eggplant parmigiana, pasta puttanesca, and pasta carbonara. We always look for local restaurants like this where the locals eat. Its fantastic!

What a incredible pizza!! I’m traveling in italy for almost 10 days and can say for sure that it was one of the bests I had. The service and atmosphere were just perfect. I hope someday to come back. I really recommend the pizza “Contadina” if you like bacon as I do.

We have been three times already and planning to go back again before we fly home. The pizza was my daughter’s favourite pizza on holiday - trust me, she tried at least one a day in the last 12 days! The sea bream is amazing and their chicken special is like my mum’s. Wholesome food! Authentic Italian family restaurant with great service, attention, generous portions for very reasonable prices compared to surrounding restaurants. I absolutely recommend for pasta and pizza lovers both as well as things like fried appetizers like fried pizza or arancini! I had pizza 4 cheese with spicy salami added. I totally recommend it.

Cute and quaint spot with very limited seating so there may be a wait if you plan to dine in. Loved the ambiance and the street with the lights above. Definitely recommend.
